Julie Chen Moonves will host the popular reality show that has been a summer sensation Big Brother. The show will return to CBS on 5 August for its 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been an integral part of The Talk since 2010, when she was both moderator as well as host. The true passion of her life was writing. In fact, she won an Emmy. Then she won a second Emmy for her role as host of an outstanding entertainment talk program. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor, and also anchor of the news segment for The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo for a fascinating and eye-opening interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked for the CBS's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor, as well as a producer (1997-1999).
